Because no one likes the Tuna here
As a Christian who doesn’t use th e cross this is even funnier.

I’d be more ashamed of that horrible font

Tuna is a trash fish.
Herring is a good fish.

But it’s on almost everything at TJMaxx and Hobby Lobby so it must be good right? Right?

The key to being a real person of faith is to let everyone know about it, always.
Maybe a HE>i sticker on the other side?

Tuna shaming sounds like a proper punishment for the lack of taste. A large rotten tuna on the roof would really complement the white Edge.

I guess I kind of just did the same thing with that closing comment.
I should be tunashamed

Hell, even Webdings is a better choice

My experiences with people who have stickers like this on their vehicles is that they really have let Jesus take the wheel.
And Jesus can’t drive for shit.

No sticker, you’re cool :)

Yes like the scralet letter you shall be publicly shamed by wearing a rotting tuna on the top of your vehicle. So that you shall remember to be stay out of the left lane while doing the speed limit.

This is obvious. Why do you think mosques play the call to prayer so loudly?

That’s because he’s always wearing leather sandals not great driving attire.

I did find a cool shelf the looks like the front end of a 67 Barracuda but it was 60 bucks. I did however by a sign that shows how to change your oil in a 1950s comic style. I put it up in my sons room.

I would ban all of that, hobby lobby should have raw supplies and kits only IMO.

Gotta upgrade your skills. Clearly he (and his Father) knew when Donkey Ed got changed to Driver’s Ed.

It took me years to figure out that the “HEKi” or “HEXi” stickers were religious and not some random brand name that I didn’t care about ...

I shouldn’t admit to how long it took me to figure out what those stickers mean. They look like they belong to some random brand I don’t care about.
![]() 07/10/2018 at 12:35 |

Same here. Years. I thought it was “HEKi” or “HEXi”.

Why? It’s just like a really big craft store. Reminds me of Michael’s, but with more floor space devoted to crafty stuff and particularly fabric than fake flowers.
![]() 07/10/2018 at 12:40 |

There’s too much junk. Faux patina’d signs, wrought iron looking stuff, 11,000 Eiffel towers for no apparent reason.
They should sell supplies, not finished products.

Needs to be done. I’m envisioning an ichthys with the tail spines of a tuna and a callout bubble with “Shamed” above it.
I wonder if anyone would get it.

Mr. Tuna is not amused.

It’s the era, but I see your point. You can get that kind of stuff at a lot of places.
I liked this local craft store in a ghetto area of Los Angeles where I bought a boatload of tiny zip lock type baggies. Tiny ones. I used them for all kinds of things in my RC kit .
Later, someone pointed out that just buying those probably made me look like I sell drugs. :(
The only things I distributed in them were class 10.9 metric screws & washers and solid stainless pins I cut to replace shitty roll pins.

I just hate kitsch, and that’s what an awful lot of it is.

So I’ve only been to a hobby lobby once. I had to because married. And I had the same feeling. There’s nothing isn’t there for hobbies. It should be called “party supplies and home decor Lobby”
However when I stumbled upon the ilse of kit cars and paints and glue I was tempted to spend about 300 bucks on that ilse alone.

As a Christian who doesn’t use the cross this is even funnier.
I was reading about the Hussites a couple days ago and I came upon a quote from someone who objected to the idea of venerating the instruments of Jesus’s execution: “If we could find Judas’s lips,
would we worship them as well?”

A lot of people seem to miss that it is idolatry. A practice condemned by Bible. Remember that time the Jews made a golden calf, but said they wanted to praise God with it. Then had to wonder the forest until every one alive at that time died? What’s the difference between a golden cross and a golden calf?
This is one of those subjects I get a bit fired up about.
